Throughout my life there have been many people who inspire me and continue to do so. A guy who first believed in me & put me on the right path, Ivan Simpson inspired me & gave me the strong work ethic & determination to never give up. People like John Hodgson, Kimberely Ann Jones, Karen and Harold Marillier inspire me & I use as role models. I'm inspired by my sister, my wife, my family who will me on to succeed & I feel like I have a duty to give 110%every single day because of their faith & support. My training partners Bodster & my warrior brother Wayne "Spartan" push me through every training session & our gym sessions are like battles.

I love spending time with my fiancé &family & friends & just basically chilling out which we don't get much chance to do because of work & my training etc. I enjoy going for meals & the simple pleasures of life which I guess we take for granted. I'm very passionate about all things to with Gladiators & warriors. Oh & I don't get enough time to watch my Smallville DVD box sets!

  7. Do you think it’s important to look good off season?
Yes & no. I think it all depends on what you're goals are. I think personally if you’re a competitor, especially a pro then your goal is to look good on contest day on the stage, not the beach or impressing Joe Public in the street, that’s irrelevant. However, I also think that being a pro also comes with a duty to be "professional" & carry yourself in the correct manner. Looking like some fat slob offseason isn't going to get you guest spots or impress supplement companies so you should not let your standards drop. You’re a Pro 24/7 & as such responsibilities must be met. However, staying in contest shape year round will do nothing for your gains. Some wise lady once told me- "to get in shape you've got to get out of shape".

  8. What is your favourite Muscle Fury product and flavour?
    Hi-Whey Chocolate flavour

  9. What is your most prized asset?
My wife! Apart from that my collection of Nike trainers!

  10. What is your motto?
Strength & Honour - No matter how hard & difficult things become, use not only your physical strength but find your inner strength, this is way more important. This is what gets you through over the obstacles & allows you to overcome lifes challenges what ever they may be. Live your life & treat others & yourself with honour & respect. Be proud, of who you are, of what you have become & of what you are trying to become.
